In today’s episode, I’m opening up about the LIE I believed for most of my life that kept me stuck, broken, and afraid. The truth is, my parents divorced when I was only 5 years old and well, I spent most of my life looking back on that, letting it affect everything in my life, from my friendships, dating, and even my marriage.
It wasn’t until I was 26 years old that I sought out a life coach for help. It was through that experience that I began to understand the power of forgiveness, gratitude, honor and what it means to have a deep relationship with God. I realized that everything that I had walked through in life brought me to where I am today and there was no sense in staying focused on the past, but only to move forward towards the future.
Life coaching had such an incredible impact on my life and I knew that it could have an impact on the lives of so many other women. And in 2020, God opened up the door for me to become a Christian Life Coach!
I went through the process of getting certified but honestly, doubt and imposter syndrome set in soon after. I didn’t feel like I was ready or that I had the focus and clarity I needed to pursue this new path God had led me to. I’ve always tried to serve as many people as I could whether it was in business, faith, marriage, motherhood or friendship and one night when I was having trouble sleeping, God whispered to my heart, “You don’t have to be everything to everyone. Kingdom mindset, marriage, and motherhood”.
I woke up with more clarity than ever before. God knew exactly who I was supposed to serve and He said it was go time. And it is!
Life coaching is all about looking forward, not backward. And I want to meet you where you are, partner with you and help you move forward into the good, abundant future that God has for you.
