In last week’s podcast, we talked about tips to help you thrive in motherhood. This week, we’re diving in deeper with some self-coaching questions you can ask yourself as a mom who wants to parent God’s way.
These questions are effective and will really work in helping you grow forward and be the very best mom that you can be. They’re everything that I wish I would have learned early on in my motherhood journey!
What’s most important?
When you’re in the middle of the mess and chaos of motherhood, this is such a great question to ask yourself. More often than not, the most important thing you can do is to just simply show up as a mom.
How can I invite ease into this situation?
As moms and as women, we tend to make things so much bigger than they actually are. There are always ways in every situation you find yourself in to make things easier. We don’t have to overcomplicate it!
How can I set myself and my family up for success?
This is going to look different for everyone, whether it’s planning ahead or shifting your expectations.
Who is the mom that I want to be?
I love this question! We have to have a vision of who we want to be. If we don’t know where we’re headed, we’re going to miss the mark every single time. There are a few sub questions that you can ask yourself here like understanding your priorities, what your relationship with God would look like if you were that mom you wanted to be, understanding how you would treat your family and yourself, and my favorite and most important question: What needs to change in me to be the mom that I want to be?
Make sure you head over to the podcast to dive deeper into these questions! I hope and pray that they will help you grow forward in your motherhood journey.
