Want to know the secret to life? Well, you don’t have to look too far, Sis, because the secret to life, it’s actually given to us right inside the Bible.
It’s a lesson that my husband and I had to learn the hard way early on in our marriage when we hit a huge financial downfall. We were at a point where we had made a bad business decision that literally cost us everything we had. We were absolutely crushed and felt like we were in a living hell.
Our marriage was on the rocks at this point and we were at the lowest of lows. It was such a deep, dark place, and looking back, I just remember feeling completely broken down, riddled with anxiety, and even struggling to breathe at times with the immense amount of stress and burden that this bad decision had left us in.
My husband and I hit our knees and leaned into the Lord and this is when He began to teach us the secret to life…the only way out of this nightmare.
So what’s the secret? You’ll find it tucked away inside Matthew 25:14-30. It’s in this story that we’re taught to be faithful with the little things so that we can be trusted with the big things. The ones who choose to be faithful and diligent will be rewarded.
We had to learn this in order to be brought out of that deep, dark place we were in. When we’re obedient and faithful, God will do amazing things. He’ll take our dreams and our talents and bless and multiply them.
So, sweet friend, choose to prosper where you’re planted. Walk out your days with faithfulness and obedience and you will be blessed!
