Ronica Cormier is the host of the Mama Trauma podcast. She is encouragement, empowerment, healing, and spiritual nourishment for daughters of narcissistic mothers to finally break the ties of generational trauma off of their lives so that they can rise up into their legacy of freedom and abundance in Christ!
Ronica knows all about narcissism because she experienced it from her mom and other family members growing up. Today on the podcast, she’s walking us through what exactly narcissism is, why it’s so painful, and how we can deal with it in our own lives.
Some of the characteristics and actions she describes are heartbreaking, especially if you are or have been the victim of narcissism. As Ronica explains, it all comes down to the fact that narcissists are all about themselves. In knowing that, we can know what to expect like…not being heard or seen, never really having a true connection with that person, and feeling like we are always in the wrong, that we are too sensitive or even experiencing verbal and physical abuse.
The reality is, every one of us has probably dealt with narcissism at some point in our lives. The hurt can be extremely painful, but healing is possible through the Holy Father.
