Erin Forsythe is a fun-loving, energetic girl from small-town Iowa. After moving to Dallas, TX in her early 20’s to “find herself” she discovered that the big city wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Eleven years later, she moved back home to Iowa and met her future husband, Ryan. At age 35, they got married and today they have a beautiful baby girl, Brynn. Their love story is one of the sweetest that you’ll ever hear!
Here’s how Erin and I met (so fun!!)
I was sitting with my daughter at her eye doctor’s appointment when the sweetest girl, full of JOY bounced into the room. “Instant connection!” I thought to myself. “This girl is such a happy chick!”
Erin, the Optometric Assistant began chatting with my daughter, asking her about school, her eyesight and all the usual things. I smiled at the two of them. They were adorable, as they made a routine eye doctor visit a totally fun experience.
The conversation shifted as Erin mentioned that she had a new baby girl. My daughter and I let out an “awww” in unison and we asked Erin to tell us all about her. After that, I asked Erin how she met her husband. (You know I looooove a good love story!)
Erin proceeded to tell me the sweetest love story about how she met her husband, Ryan in her 30’s and how they got married when she was age 35?! I was shocked, I was inspired, I was smiling the entire time!! I knew in that moment that I had to get her on the podcast so you could hear her story too!
