Kayla is a high school senior who will graduate at the top of her class this Spring. She’ll also have 2 years of college completed when she graduates. This girl knows how to put in the work and make things happen.
Kayla currently runs her own business, which she will continue to grow when she heads to college next fall to pursue Ag business.
She’s a class officer and student council president, plus she holds leadership positions in 9 other organizations. Out of all these incredible ventures, Kayla is most passionate about dance, theater, and FFA.
You might be wondering, how the heck does this girl handle all of that?! Well, sweet friends, the answer is with a whole lot of grace. And as her big sister, I couldn’t be more proud.
Our dad has always said that leaders run into the fire and Kayla is the perfect example of that. She has faced some challenging times and with everything on her plate, it might be easy for her to just throw in the towel. But she doesn’t. She continues to push through whatever she comes up against. She focuses on the positive rather than the negative and makes the best of every situation she finds herself in.
I don’t have to tell you that we’re all going to be met with some challenges in life. I mean, hello 2020! But what I can tell you is that you have a choice in how you handle those challenges. Are you going to respond or react? Are you going to sit back and give up or are you going to make the decision to push forward?
I’m not saying it’s easy, but Kayla is proof that it’s possible.
