Hey Friend!

I’m Katie… a Midwest mom who fell in love with homeschooling.

I’m currently in a state of motherhood that includes long days and short years! (IYKYK)

The truth is… I wouldn’t trade this season for anything. I’ve done a lot of different “things” over the years (worked on roofs with my husband, waitressed, traveled, became a Certified Christian Life Coach, created a podcast…), but nothing has filled my heart and changed my family’s life more than homeschooling.

I love Jesus and personal growth, I enjoy iced coffee and wide open spaces, I’m a realistic optimist and a minimalist.

I’m married to a man I adore and we have three great kiddos who keep us on our toes. We also have a pup named Dolly, who freely roams our 40 acre farm in Iowa. (Other family critters include two farm cats, a turtle and an ever-growing flock of chickens.)

Did I mention that I’m a homebody? I absolutely adore being at home, loving on my husband and equipping and discipling my kids to walk in Biblical wisdom.

As a mom, I believe that my first mission field is at home. If you’re a mama, I believe the same is true for you. It’s why I’m passionate about helping moms homeschool with ease, confidence and joy.
